Tips
to master in “English Language” section of SSC CGL Tier II 2016:
- The English Language in SSC CGL Tier II is divided into four parts:
- Vocabulary
- Grammar
- Reading Comprehension
- Verbal skills
- Go through some of the important topics which are 100 percent certain to be present in your question paper. Some of them are: Synonyms and Antonyms, Phrase or Idiom meaning, One Word Substitution, Spellings and sentence formations, Gap fillers, Phrase Replacement, Cloze test etc.
- Develop a regular habit of reading newspapers and articles on a daily basis. This habit will help you to enhance your written and spoken skills.
- Refer to some standard books like “English Comprehension” by MB Publication in which you get some useful stuff to prepare.
- Reading Comprehension questions may seem lengthy but we can suggest you an easy approach for solving the RC questions. You can go the other way round for solving these questions i.e. first go through the questions and find the answers in the passage. This approach is faster and you need not require to go through the entire passage.
- Last but not the least, Have faith in your calibre that you can do it, you certainly can. Your potential should not be exposed any sorts of negative factors and always remember that “You are the ultimate winner”
We wish this article will help you
to ace the “English Language and Comprehension” section of the
